When upgrading your garden, the installation process should be as seamless as the final result. Traditional, heavy solid fence panels can be incredibly difficult to transport, cumbersome to lift, and awkward to install without a large team. That is why we have engineered our premium slatted boundary system using a smart modular design.
Our 1800mm wide modular fence panels give you the structural integrity and stunning visual impact of a full-height boundary, broken down into manageable, precision-crafted sections that simply stack together.
The Benefits of a Modular Boundary System
Building your new fence using our modular slatted panels provides significant advantages over traditional garden centre fencing:
- Flawless Continuous Finish: Our 6ft panels are designed to be face-mounted onto your posts. When two modular sections are stacked together, the horizontal slats align perfectly. The join is invisible, creating a sleek, continuous architectural line.
- Easy Handling and Installation: A standard six-foot heavy-duty panel is incredibly heavy and awkward for one person to lift into place. By splitting our taller 1800mm boundaries into two 900mm sections, the physical strain is halved, making installation significantly faster and safer.
- Safer Transit: Shipping massive timber panels across the UK mainland increases the risk of damage in transit. Our modular sizes fit securely onto standard shipping pallets, ensuring they arrive at your property in absolutely pristine condition.
- Flexible Landscaping: Gardens are rarely perfectly flat. A 900mm modular system allows you to step your panels down varying ground levels much more easily than dealing with single, rigid six-foot blocks.
How Our Modular System Works
We have done the hard work in our Sheffield workshop so the installation on site is as straightforward as possible. If you order a taller boundary, we automatically supply the correct modular sections to achieve your desired height:
- 1200mm Heights: Supplied as two interlocking 600mm panels.
- 1500mm Heights: Supplied as one 900mm panel and one 600mm panel.
- 1800mm Heights: Supplied as two 900mm panels. 6x6ft
Simply fix your lower panel to your timber posts, stack the upper panel directly on top, and secure it. It really is that straightforward.
FAQs
What are modular slatted fence panels?
Our modular system consists of 900mm high slatted screens designed to stack seamlessly on top of one another. This creates a continuous, high-end architectural boundary without the need for complex joinery on site.
How do I build a standard 1800mm high fence?
To achieve a standard 1800mm height, you simply stack two of our 900mm modular panels together. This modular approach completely removes the need for lifting heavy, full-sized privacy screens.
Can one person install these modular panels?
Yes. Because our panels are supplied in 900mm sections, they are significantly lighter and easier to manoeuvre. This allows for safe, single-person handling and drastically reduces installation time.
Are the timber panels pressure treated?
Absolutely. Every panel is handcrafted in our Sheffield workshop using premium, pressure-treated timber, providing robust protection against rot and the harsh UK weather.
Will these panels conceal my fence posts?
Yes, our continuous slatted design is engineered to sit directly across the front of your structural posts. This completely hides the timber supports behind the battens, resulting in a clean, modern aesthetic.
